Personality and individuality

Our name pays homage to the historic mercantile building we're located in on Main Street in Siren, Wisconsin, that used to operate as a grocery and general store.

The floor of a general store

Wood beams, long aisles and shelves full of things to discover, the way a general store should feel.

Sodas from everywhere

Root beers, cream sodas and bottles you have not seen since childhood, lined up wall to wall.

Learning together

Our cooking classes fill the kitchen at the back of the store with neighbors, friends and a lot of laughter. (Not to mention the occasional guest chef),

Tools for the table

Glassware, bar tools and kitchen gadgets from brands we use at home ourselves.

What we're here for

We aim to share our knowledge and personal love of cooking, and provide helpful advice on the best products to suit your needs and budget. We hope you'll also stop in to sample some of our Olivelle oils and balsamic vinegars, poured to order from our in-shop casks, and let us offer you some of our cooking and recipe tips.

A place for community in Siren

We have a full kitchen in the back of the store where we offer cooking classes, allowing us to gather with our customers to share food advice, good meals and laughter.
